About the role..

The Group Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will take the lead on developing our efforts in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent right across our Group - focused on helping shape DFS group culture with new hires and ensuring that we have the right people in place to achieve our ambitious goals and positive brand reputation. They will have a deep understanding of the organisation and its culture, leading stakeholder conversations to build clear attraction strategies to hire top talent into their teams and become an employer of choice in the candidate market. 

Day to day..

  • Co-create, develop and execute bespoke talent acquisition strategies aligned with our Groups business objectives, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to attract top talent.

  • Ensure clear processes are in place for hiring and assessing for all volume areas within the Group brands, focused on exceptional candidate experiences. 

  • Lead and mentor a high performing team of talent acquisition advisors and partners and attraction manager, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

  • Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop proactive recruitment plans to address current and future talent gaps.

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.

  • Ensuring recruitment budget is used effectively to meet the needs of the business and deliver the best ROIs

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance DFS Groups reputation as an employer of choice, both internally and externally.

  • Implement data-driven recruiting metrics and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise recruitment strategies.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in talent acquisition, continuously seeking opportunities to improve DFS Groups recruitment processes and stand out.

  • Overseeing and supporting Talent Acquisition and Attraction teams relationships with hiring leaders, ensuring the best service is provided both to candidates and internally

 Skills & Experience to help you succeed.. 

  • Strong recruitment and talent acquisition expertise, including headhunting, recruitment tech and tools analysis and delivery of high volume / complex recruitment 

  • Designing and delivering on projects such as Careers website, Employer Value Proposition and system implementations / integrations. 

  • Experience in leading recruitment marketing initiatives, including paid socials

  • Ability to build relationships and partner with Senior Leaders effectively to support their business area hiring objectives 

  • Able to work on multiple projects and priorities at a time, and being agile with workload

  • Ability to lead and develop a team of TA professionals 

  • Strategic Thinking: Align recruitment with business objectives 

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify opportunities and pain points and act swiftly to find resolutions.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and hiring regulations.
