Hours: Full Time. Hours are as follows, 08.30 - 17.00 Mon to Thursday, Friday 08.30 - 14.00

Salary: £23,200

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a Planning Assistant / Administrator to join our fast paced Manufacturing team on a Permanent basis.

  • Overall responsibility for supporting the planning function in generating, scheduling and coordinating the production plan to ensure that it meets both the short and long range organisational goals

  • Ensure all the production jobs are communicated and issued to the manufacturing operation in a timely and suitable manner for the manufacturing operation

  • Support in clearly communicating the production plan and assumptions with the material planning team to ensure aligned understanding

  • Ensure all on hold / exceptional / re-writes / cancelled orders are processed in a timely manner, to maintain the accuracy of the production schedule

  • Ensuring any service orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Support the team to ensure that all the outgoing deliveries are booked in to achievable slots with the Supply Chain team 

  • Support in actively analysing, monitoring and reporting the key manufacturing processes to identify any constraints

  • Clearly and quickly communicate in a standardised format, any delays in previously communicated expectations and the new revised expectations to the relevant stakeholders (CDC’s / Stores etc.)

  • Maintaining a continuous improvement approach to our processes, systems and tools

  • Ensure any of the teams relevant standard operating procedures are up to date

  • Support in the collation of operational information, reports and metrics, ensuring they are up to date and available, as and when required

  • Performing ad-hoc analysis and support as and when required to support the manufacturing organisation

  • Helping with pay data and payroll contribution

  • Ensure that the Company’s Health & Safety Policies are rigorously applied.

  • Compliance with the Company’s policies and directives
