About the role..

The Talent Acquisition Partner is most often the very first interaction that any new colleague will have when they are looking to join us at the DFS Group, they plan a pivotal role in ensuring that we’re attracting and sourcing talent for our organisation. , ensuring that colleagues are being placed in the right roles for them, every single time. 

There are a number of areas that our Talent Acquisition Partners will support across the organisation  including Retail, Manufacturing, Operational and commercial roles. The area will be dependent on business requirements and flexibility will be required in terms of being cross skilled over each business function. 

Day to day..

  • Drive attraction and sourcing strategies across multiple channels to find and secure the best talent.

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand needs, shape future talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Lead key recruitment projects that align with business priorities and deliver real impact.

  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify and engage high-potential talent.

  • Champion inclusive hiring - ensuring every advert, post and interaction reflects our brand and values.

  • Use market insights, data and competitor research to influence decisions and continuously improve how we hire.

  • Coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and helping build capability across the function.

  • Provide clear, data-led updates to stakeholders, keeping communication open and transparent throughout.

  • Collaborate with the wider People team on tailored assessment and selection approaches that bring our brand to life.

  • Represent our brand externally at events, networks and webinars, helping to grow our reputation as a great place to work.

  • Ideally experience in corporate hiring and Manufacuring business areas
  • A fresh perspective on hiring: You’re not afraid to challenge the norm. You constantly ask, “How can we make this experience better?”  for candidates, hiring managers, and the wider business.

  • A true storyteller: You bring recruitment data to life… providing meaningful insights into the market, explaining the “why” behind the numbers, and giving visibility into what’s really happening behind the scenes.

  • Relationship driven: You take pride in your reputation as a Talent Acquisition Partner. You build strong, lasting relationships with hiring managers and candidates, going above and beyond to find the right people quickly and effectively.

  • Influential and confident: You know how to challenge and influence decisions constructively, always with the goal of finding the best outcome for everyone.

  • Creative and forward thinking: You love exploring new ways to attract and hire top talent. When your normal ways aren’t working, you think outside the box to uncover rare talent & hidden gems that others might miss.
